The night sky was split open by fire.
Explosions painted the ruins of Musutafu in gold and red, as if the city itself had become a battleground between gods. The air stank of ash, blood, and burnt ozone. Buildings were reduced to skeletons. Every few seconds, another blast thundered across the wasteland — Katsuki Bakugo’s explosions, each one fiercer than the last.
At the center of it all, All For One stood — towering, monstrous, half his body shredded from earlier battles, yet still alive, still smiling through the jagged remains of his mask. His voice carried over the inferno, low and venomous.
“You’ve grown strong, boy. Strong enough to make even All Might proud.”
Bakugo spat blood, his costume torn to shreds. His arms shook violently, every nerve screaming in pain. “Don’t you dare say his name.”
All For One chuckled, the sound crackling through his broken respirator. “You and Midoriya… so predictable. You fight for others. You break yourselves for ideals. Yet here you are — alone.”
Bakugo’s eyes narrowed. “Yeah. Alone. That’s exactly how I like it.”
He clenched his fists. The air around him began to vibrate, tiny sparks bursting off his skin. His quirk flared like a dying star — unstable, uncontrollable, but alive.
“You talk too much,” he growled. “Let’s finish this.”
All For One raised his arm, quirks swirling and fusing like a hurricane. Black tendrils coiled around his hand, absorbing energy, bending the very air. “Then die a hero, Bakugo Katsuki.”
The ground exploded.
All For One unleashed a wave of power that ripped through the city, a storm of destruction so immense it swallowed the light itself. But Bakugo moved faster — a streak of gold and crimson cutting through the darkness.
He dodged left, blasted upward, and rocketed straight into the heart of the attack. Every explosion from his palms wasn’t just propulsion — it was defiance, it was rage, it was everything he’d ever been.
“Damn it,” he muttered between gritted teeth, pushing through the pressure, “I’m not dying… to some hand-me-down villain!”
The blast cleared just enough for Bakugo to close in. He slammed his gauntlet against All For One’s chest and fired — BOOM! The explosion cracked the villain’s armor, sent him reeling back with a guttural roar.
But it wasn’t enough.
All For One regenerated instantly, his wounds sealing, quirks flickering like sparks in his veins. “Pathetic. You’re a spark trying to burn down the sun.”
Bakugo’s smirk was feral. “Then watch me explode.”
He jammed his remaining grenade bracer into his right palm, forcing it to overload. The metal hissed, glowing red-hot.
From the distance, Midoriya’s voice echoed — faint, broken. “Kacchan! Stop! You’ll—”
Bakugo shouted back without turning. “Shut up, nerd! This is my fight!”
The air trembled as Bakugo rose, his quirk reaching its limit. His entire body burned, every nerve alive with pain and adrenaline.
He screamed into the night, a battle cry that shook the heavens. “FINAL HOWITZER IMPACT!”
He spun through the air, faster and faster, a human missile surrounded by a cyclone of explosions. The force tore through the clouds, igniting everything around him in blinding light.
All For One tried to counter, merging every quirk he had left into a final defense — energy absorption, kinetic nullification, regeneration — but none of it mattered. Bakugo broke through it all, a single streak of orange death.
When he hit, the world ended in white.
The explosion swallowed everything — the villain, the rubble, the darkness. The shockwave stretched for miles. When the smoke finally cleared, there was nothing left of All For One. Just ashes.
Bakugo lay face down in the crater, body trembling, every breath a battle. He turned his head, grinning weakly through blood and soot.
“Tch… Told you… I don’t lose.”
Midoriya limped toward him, tears streaming down his face. “Kacchan… you did it. He’s gone.”
Bakugo chuckled, voice faint but steady. “Damn right he is. Now quit crying. You’re supposed to be the next Symbol of Peace, not a crybaby.”
Midoriya smiled, kneeling beside him. “You’re my hero, Kacchan.”
Bakugo stared up at the starless sky, eyes heavy. “Yeah… I know.”
The wind carried the last wisps of smoke away, and for the first time in years, the world was quiet.
All For One was gone. And in his place, the explosion that ended him became a legend — the final, furious heartbeat of a hero named Bakugo Katsuki.
